Hard Water

Hard water is fixed by a water softener.   They pass water through a resin bed. The resin attracts the harder metals from your water.  Water hardness is measured in grains.  Water with more than five or six grains is considered hard water.  Your water can be tested to let you know what problems you have.

If this is a problem your water has, fill out an analysis and we'll fix it for you.

Water that tastes like chlorine

When your water tastes like it has chlorine in it, you need to get a carbon filter.  This is a very easy way to fix this common problem.  Even city water can taste like chlorine.

If this is a problem your water has, fill out an analysis and we'll fix it for you.

Acidic Water

When the ph level in your water is too low, it means that you have acidic water.  This is fixed by what is called an Acid Neutralizer.  An acid neutralizer passes your water through a bed of basic materials which balance the ph levels.

Micro Organisms

If you have micro organisms in your water it can make you very sick.  The way to cleanse the water that goes to your house from these small bacteria is by using a UV light.  The organisms are killed as they pass under the ultra-violet light.

If this is a problem your water has, fill out an analysis and we'll fix it for you.

Bad Tasting Water

Sometimes the different minerals in your water make it taste funny.  The best thing to do is get a bottleless drinking water system.  There are many to choose from, but the best is a Reverse Osmosis system.  They are also called RO units.  They screen out the unwanted minerals through a microscopic membrane.  You won't believe how great your water will taste.

If this is a problem your water has, fill out an analysis and we'll fix it for you.

Red or Rusty Water

North Carolina has an abundance of iron in its soil.  This iron is always picked up in the water supply. If left unattended it can clog your pipes, stain your clothes and damage you bathroom fixtures.  Iron is taken out by a water softener or a green sand unit.  They remove the unwanted iron and leave you with softer more useful water.

If this is a problem your water has, fill out an analysis and we'll fix it for you.
